About Me
Hi - I'm Philip J. Willett, welcome to my website.
I'm an actor, street performer and model with a love of dancing. I came late to acting having done a number of jobs working as a warehouse person, park keeper and care worker. I got into acting through joining a weekly evening drama-class at was then the Connaught Centre. It was there I was first put upon my path to professional acting by our teacher Heather Richards, to whom I will be eternally grateful.
Also during this time, "The Kinky Traffic Wardens" were born, a comedy street performance act which became a Brighton Fringe favourite. This lead to what I consider my first major production, Chichester Festival Theatre's community production of Doctor Faustus with Sam West, which inspired me to then train at Brighton's Academy Of Creative Training (A.C.T.). Since graduating, along with stage and film acting I have been working with the Outlook Foundation to help them with their Christmas shows.
As to my love of dance I am a member of Marina Studio's inclusive dance crew Dance-It and performed with 201 Dance Company.
I'll be keeping this website updated with all my acting, hosting and dance activities so click subscribe to not miss a thing.
All the best,
Philip.
